I just got my hands on with the Google Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro XL phones and there are 3 interesting AI features that you should know!
First up, Add me, this feature is super useful when you want to take a group pic. Anyone can take a photo of others and next up they can just join the group while any other person clicks. Pixel will now process the photo to make it a complete group pic.
Next up, you don’t have to scroll through the huge screenshots folder to find the one you are searching. You can now just open the Pixel Screenshots app and just ask it whatever you want and it will show the results. You can even see the contents of the screenshot separately. Don’t worry, all of this is done locally.
Lastly, there is Pixel Studio, which is an image generator that also works offline and can create anything from your imagination.
Oh bonus time, if you have already clicked a photo and want to change something about it, you can now just select the area and use the reimagine feature to create your own version of the same photo.
Lastly, you also get the new AI weather app, there’s 8K upscaling feature available on the Pixel phones and obviously there’s Gemini Live that doesn’t work as well as it should but it will get better with updates.
